We know that the fall can be an exciting and tumultuous time of the year, but there are a number of auto accident risk factors to be aware of during this season. Whether you drive to work every day or are planning a road trip during the fall, there are many different possible hazards that you should be aware of.
For starters, the fall months can bring chaotic weather to many parts of the country, such as strong winds that knock down power lines and scatter tree limbs across the road. Fall can also be much colder, and in certain parts of the country there may be ice on the roadway during this season. With many parents bringing their kids to school, there may a higher risk of auto collisions in the morning and afternoon—especially for parents who are struggling to adjust to a different schedule.
