I graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I also graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law with a Juris Doctor degree.

I have clerked at three District Attorney's Offices throughout the Bay Area: Alameda County, San Mateo County and Santa Clara County. I know how the prosecutors think and what they plan to do.  I have also worked at private criminal defense firms.
