I've been dealing with this law office for over 2 1/2 years, they treat you like family they never call me back either. If not for Ms. Shannon the disability examiner I would still be sitting in the dark. Would missed disability doctor appointment as MY lawyer calked me couple weeks after to tell me I missed the appointment that I had went to thanks again to Ms.S. Got my approval letter October 12 2024 informed me of my payment and back pay amount all though I had no knowledge about it I was charged with $1070.00 for having Medicare when I hit the 2 yrs mark waiting on answer. That was taken from the first months payment ( nice of them uh?,after taken over 2yrs. To review my case as I watch all I worked for slowly going away trying to survive this) But thank God finally monthly payment is coming, back pay my future ( some where to live, small little things like what I need to replace after waiting so long) still no back pay. Gulf south told me I needed o give info to prove to disability wasn't getting paid at that time . Gave that to Gulf South beginning of Dec. Call Gulf South Monday they ask did I give them the info letter they don't know anything about backpay they call distribution center and see about my money. Here I sit again 2 days later again no phone calls from them .
I just filed my claim and honestly the law firm doesn't owe us a thing. They made a quick, kind and empathetic commitment to file our claims and help us legally and FOR FREE until the cases were resolved so why are some of you mad at them like they have a Harry Potter promise magic wand They didn't promise me a thing but a commitment to fight for my claim and if they can help fast great not so fast ok not at all it's not their fault.I just want to thank Gulf South for even taking a look at my claim, doing all the necessary verification and being honest and kind..On my end even if they can't help I know they tried and Kindness will bring you more peace..
I’m not sure what happened, but I have made several calls and left voicemails. Also, I have texted the person for whom I’ve been assigned. She was very responsive and on top of things, but now she has not responded in over 2 months. I’ve called the main office and left voicemails, but I still haven’t heard back from anyone. At first, everyone was really nice, knowledgeable, and made me feel emotionally supported. I’m a 100% P&T Disabled Veteran. With my rating, I honestly thought it would be a little easier than what I’m currently experiencing. I’m not sure what to do. Did I do something wrong? Please help.
My SSDI claim hasn’t yet reached its resolution but I had to give recognition to the exemplary care, consideration and commitment taken by their staff, in particular Lauren, when completing my application with SS. This process in my prior experience was confusing and the attention taken to detail was nothing compared to what Lauren accomplished. She was kind, patient, efficient, and showed the kind of client/patient care that reassures you that you’re being taken care of and by the best. Above and beyond. All the stars. ??
