Douglas County School District, 862 F.2d 824 (11th Cir. 1989); the establishment clause, Doe v. Barrow County, 290 F.Supp. 2d 1362 (N.D. Ga. 2003); and prayer breakfasts, Newman v. City of East Point, 181 F.Supp. 2d 1374 (N.D. Ga. 2002). He has litigated leading cases involving police misconduct and false arrest. Carringer v. Rodgers, 331 F.3d 844 (11th Cir. 2003); Carringer v. Rodgers, 331 F.3d 844 (11th Cir. 2003); Carringer v. Rodgers, 276 Ga. 359 (2003); Hicks v. McGee, 283 Ga. App. 678 (2007); McGee v. Hicks, 303 Ga. App. 130 (2010). He has litigated Truth in Lending cases for over 30 years, including many of the leading cases. In re Whitley, 772 F.2d 815 (11th Cir. 1985); Varner v. Century Finance Co., Inc., 738 F.2d 1143 (11th Cir. 1986); In re Orr, 697 F.2d 1011 (11th Cir. 1983); Besaw v. General Finance Corp., 693 F.2d 1032 (11th Cir. 1987); Parker v. Dekalb Chrysler Plymouth, 673 F.2d 1178 (11th Cir. 1982); In re Spinner, 398 B.R. 84 (N.D. Ga. 2008) (Bank.). He has litigated fair debt collection practice cases and his case of Jeter v. Credit Bureaus, Inc. 760 F.2d 1168 (11th Cir. 1985) has been cited as authority in over 200 cases.
