Bill Allen was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but spent the major part of his childhood in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His family returned to Florida in 1975, and Bill graduated from Buchholz High School in Gainesville in 1979 where he was senior class president, National Honor Society member, and varsity football captain. Furthermore, he earned a football scholarship to the University of Florida and graduated with high honors in 1983 while also lettering for the Gators. After six years of working with his father in a family-owned business and earning an MBA, Bill returned to the University of Florida College of Law where he was a member of the Trial Competition Team and received his J.D. (law degree) with honors in 1992. Prior to starting Allen Law Firm, Bill worked with a personal injury firm practicing and litigating exclusively in the area of personal injury and wrongful death. During the past 10 years, he has handled thousands of personal injury claims totaling settlements in excess of $85 million. His prior legal experience includes personal injury law and specializes in car accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, bicycle accidents, and pedestrian accidents, among other types of accidents and injuries. He founded Allen Law Firm, P.A. with his wife Ginny Allen in 2007 to help accident victims in Gainesville and Ocala recover fair compensation for their injuries. Bill is a member of the Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of Trial Lawyers), the American Justice Association (formerly American Trial Lawyers Association), the American Bar Association, and the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all state courts and federal courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
