A legal category of worker defined by the Internal Revenue Service. And insurance companies require appraisals to determine the amount of damage done to covered property before settling insurance claims.

Property that carries a right to use a portion of a neighboring property. For example, property that benefits from a beach access trail across another property is the dominant tenement.

(2) A lack of ability to understand one's actions when making a will or other legal document. (3) The inability of an injured worker to perform his or her job. This may qualify the worker for disability benefits or workers' compensation.
