I was able to file an emergency chapter 7 bankruptcy and I saved the clients home from being foreclosed on.
How did you build a successful practice?I became a member of community organizations. I made sure my clients were satisfied in my representation so they would reccommend me to others.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?Availability, community orientated and local. Aggressive and hard working.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?A local attorney will be much more successful then an out of town attorney. Local knowledge is everything.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?I will spend as much time on a phone call and offer advice as needed.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?Legal problem and urgency of that problem.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?I make myself available. I know all the judges, clerks and secretaries. I know our community.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?A thank you from a client.
What are your other interests in addition to law?Rescue of animals.
Are you involved in your community?I sit on the boards of Legal Services of Eastern Michigan, Bishop Airport and Michigan State Alumni. I represent animal rescues in our community.
