What should clients look for in a lawyer?The first thing a client should look for in a lawyer is experience in that particular area of law the client's case concerns. Many lawyers are generalists, and that's okay, but avoid giving a complicated estate matter to a newbie. Next, talk to the lawyer and see if he or she really seems interested in your case. If they aren't interested in a new client coming in the door, what kind of help do you think you'll get later?

After graduating with honors (cum laude) from Mississippi College School of Law, Mr. Gaggini began practicing law and has successfully represented, defended, or otherwise counseled individuals (rich and poor), businesses, banks, insurance and government entities. Over the years his practice has included significant litigation experience in Mississippi’s county, circuit and chancery courts. In addition to his private law practice, Mr. Gaggini has taught law on the undergrad, graduate and post graduate levels at Belhaven University and A.T. Still School of Medicine. He formerly served as a hospital chaplain, and holds diplomate status in the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy. He is also the author of Mississippi Limitations of Actions, published by MLI Press (Mississippi College School of Law), Laches and Limitations West Publishing, and numerous articles used in Continuing Legal Education for attorneys in Mississippi. Mr. Gaggini resides in Tupelo, Mississippi with his wife Shelley Gaggini.
