The firm's team-based, comprehensive family law practice serves families and individuals throughout Orange, Durham, Wake and Chatham Counties. John established the firm's family law practice following his admission to the North Carolina Bar in 2006. He is also admitted to the North Carolina Eastern and Middle District federal courts. His professional memberships include the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the Orange and Durham Family Law Bars. John graduated Summa Cum Laude from Niagara University where he was recognized for excellence in moot court competitions and dedicated his Honors Thesis to the expanding specialty court trend. John attended law school at The State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating with a concentration in Civil Litigation and an estimated top 25% class rank. He served as Executive Director of the law school's Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Board and was inducted into The Order of Barristers. He clerked at a large firm in Buffalo and externed in the district office of a United States Senator. John serves on the Board of Directors and presents at a monthly divorce workshop at the Compass Center for Women and Families in Chapel Hill and is a proud sponsor of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He resides in Wake County with his wife, daughter and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Henry.
