As a working woman, I am particularly passionate about helping victims of unequal pay, workplace harassment, pregnancy discrimination, gender discrimination, and sexual assault. In many workplaces, including some I've had experience with, the deck is stacked against even the most hardworking, talented, and thick-skinned women. We run up against explicit and implicit bias and hostility and fight against demeaning aggressions on a weekly basis. We've been fighting for equality in the workplace for decades; it's the workplace's turn to step up and do better. Speaking out against illegal and discriminatory practices can cause your employer to correct course and make positive change for your colleagues, peers, friends, and family.

Similarly, challenging illegal working conditions and wage theft can help your co-workers and change your industry. We pursue individual and class action litigation on behalf of wage earners who are wronged by their employers, helping return money owed to the most important members of the workforce - those who actually do the work, versus those who push the paper. We believe that litigation can be a meaningful tool in the fight for economic equality for all Californians.
