Lawrence F. Reilly, Attorney

Mr. Reilly concentrates his practice on civil litigation, including personal injury, commercial matters, product liability, and constitutional law. He regularly handles civil trials as well as litigation in the appellate courts.  His practice also includes representing clients in private dispute resolution arenas such as arbitration and mediation.  He is admitted to the bars of Connecticut, New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

During his more than sixteen years of practice, Mr. Reilly has tried numerous cases to successful conclusions, including an appeal to the Connecticut Supreme Court in Gore v. People's Savings Bank, which altered Connecticut law regarding the liability of landowners for the presence of lead-based paint on their property.

Over the course of his career, he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in civil disputes and trials.  He is often asked to act as local counsel by national companies who become involved in Connecticut litigation.

He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Fairfield County Bar Association (Civil Litigation and Bench and Bar Sections co-chairperson), Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Judicature Society.

Mr. Reilly also volunteers his services to the Superior Courts of Connecticut as a Special Master for pretrial settlement conferences, and as a Factfinder and Arbitrator.

He has both lectured and moderated continuing legal education seminars concerning various aspects of civil litigation.  He was recently nominated to serve a two year term on the Board of Directors of the Fairfield County Bar Association.

Mr. Reilly has a law degree cum laude from New York Law School.
