The Court of Appeal ordered the hung counts dismissed based on double jeopardy People v Harris Practice Area: Criminal Defense Date: Jun 19, 2014 Outcome: Case Dismissed Description: Client charged with assualt, possession of gun by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, with two prior strikes. Possible sentence of 25 years to life. Matter dismissed after 995 motion and writ by Court of Appeal, because DA failed to disclose they were prosecuting client's prior attorney.
