When custody is an issue it is sometimes because children are neglected and not receiving the attention and guidance they need to become productive adults. I recently had such a case. My client lives in another state which I believe can make it more challenging to obtain custody in a custody modification case. However, custody was modified and my client, the father, now has custody of his children. It has been very satisfying for me that my client was awarded custody of his children because I know his children will now receive the direction and support they need to lead healthy fulfilling lives.

I built a successful law practice by hard work, experience and building my knowledge of the area I practice in, which is family law.

I do not provide free phone consultations in which I give legal advice because I cannot adequately address a client's legal needs over the phone. I will speak briefly on the phone with potential clients if they want to get a sense of who I am and to ascertain if I will be a good fit for their legal needs.

The most rewarding aspect of my job is when I know I have provided my clients with legal representation that meets their needs and expectations and provides the results they are anticipating.

I have been an actively involved in animal rights for more than 25 years. I rescue animals and currently have 8 cats and 4 dogs which are a part of my family. I love them all dearly and they have a forever home with me. I am a vegetarian and support the right of all living creatures to have a cruelty free and fulfilling existence. I am also a gardener and am known in my neighborhood for my beautiful flowers.

I am involved in my community in regard to wildlife, and domesticated/pet animal, issues.
