Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
The client's attorney withdrew from the case and she called me. I took a look and discovered that the case was set for a hearing on a Motion for Summary Judgement within two weeks, which would cause the client to lose the case. I took over a filed a response. The day before the hearing, opposing counsel withdrew their motion. If we hadn't filed a response and evidence, the client would have lost everything. The case eventually settled for about half a million.
How did you build a successful practice?
By focusing on personal attention, clear communication, and relentless advocacy for my clients. I make it a priority to fully understand each client’s situation, explain their legal options in plain language, and guide them through every step of the process. Over time, consistent results, word-of-mouth referrals, and a reputation for fighting hard but fairly have allowed my practice to grow.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Clients should look for a lawyer who is experienced, accessible, and genuinely committed to their case. A good lawyer not only understands the law but also listens to the client, keeps them informed, and is prepared to take the case as far as necessary to secure justice.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Local knowledge is essential. Knowing the judges, opposing counsel, jury tendencies, and local court procedures allows me to navigate cases more efficiently and anticipate challenges. It also helps me connect clients with trusted local resources, such as medical experts and investigators.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
I can discuss the legal process, explain the potential strengths and weaknesses of the case based on the facts provided, outline possible next steps, and give an overview of timelines and costs. I can also answer general questions about the applicable laws in Florida and what to expect moving forward.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
I need a clear summary of the incident, relevant dates, any injuries sustained, medical treatment received, and any documents or evidence available, such as medical records, photographs, or witness contact information. The more complete the initial information, the better I can evaluate the case.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I combine years of experience in personal injury law with a client-centered approach that emphasizes transparency, accessibility, and aggressive representation. Every client works directly with me, not just a case manager, so they receive individualized attention from start to finish.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Helping people who are going through one of the most difficult times in their lives and achieving results that make a meaningful difference for them and their families. Seeing the relief and closure a client feels when a case resolves successfully is incredibly fulfilling.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and exploring Florida’s beaches and parks. I am also an avid sports fan and enjoy attending local games.
Are you involved in your community?
Yes. I participate in local charity events, sponsor community initiatives, and support local schools through fundraisers and supply drives. I believe giving back strengthens the community and builds trust between residents and local businesses. For the past few years I've sponsored Lake Mary Elementary by providing the teachers back to school breakfast and a Christmas party.
