About Christian
Christian's practice is devoted to the representation of insurance companies and their insureds. He particularly focuses on the defense of professional liability, products liability, toxic tort, construction defect/accident and automobile claims. Christian has handled a wide array of complex litigation matters from inception to verdict in New York state and federal courts.
During the years 1998 through 2001, Christian handled claims for AIG Technical Service's Toxic Tort Claims Department in New York City. His tenure at AIG provided him with the opportunity to learn about how an insurance company operates internally and how insurers view and evaluate claims.
In 1988 Christian enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. He was honorably discharged as a Second Class Petty officer in 1997. Christian's specialty was electronics and was awarded two Commandant's Letters of Commendation prior to being discharged. He was also involved in various duties such as search and rescue, pollution response and maritime law enforcement.
Christian attended college at night during his last four years in the U.S. coast Guard and earned his B.A. degree in 1997 from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Subsequently, Christian attended Seton Hall University School of Law earning his J.D. in 2001. Christian also attended law school at night while working for AIG Technical Services.
