Christopher E. Knight, Attorney

Christopher E. Knight is a managing director and shareholder with the firm's Miami office, where he presently leads its largest litigation practice group and oversees its healthcare group. Mr. Knight acts as statewide counsel to several airlines and as lead counsel for a major insurer for the State of Florida. He has been named lead counsel for the defense in federal multi district matters and in class action matters dealing with products, insurance and attorney general investigations. He represents more than 15 Fortune 500 companies and remains the lead medical malpractice attorney for the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Mr. Knight is an AV-rated attorney and has more than 20 years experience as an active civil litigator. He has been named a Heavy Hitter in Healthcare by the South Florida Business Journal, and has been recognized as one of  South Florida's top attorneys in the South Florida Legal Guide and by Florida's Super Lawyers magazine for civil litigation.

Mr. Knight is a member of The Florida Bar, Dade County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Board and the St. Thomas University American Inns of Court. He is the past Chairman of the Orange Bowl Committee, board member of the American Law Firm Association, board member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA), a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) and a past member of the University of Florida College of Law Alumni Council.
