In 2004, he graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. Daniel also attended the California Western School of Law in San Diego. Petrov graduated with his Juris Doctorate Degree in April 2007 and was subsequently admitted to the California State Bar after passing the July 2007 bar exam. In 2014, Daniel started Petrov Law Firm which specializes in personal injury and estate planning. Daniel currently lives in the Fletcher Hills area of San Diego with his wife, two children, and their two beagles. He handles all types of personal injury cases like car accidents, truck accidents, medical malpractice, brain injuries, wrongful death, and more.
