I can comfortably say that I have made a difference in virtually case or problem I take on through dedication, compassion, hard work, and determination to treat all clients with a holistic approach, which means I do not attempt to solve only the immediate problem in front of me, but set them up for long term success in life.

A successful practice isn't built overnight; like anything else it requires effort and energy...nothing comes easy. It also doesn't hurt if you have natural talent and intelligence.

Analytical and creative thinking, compassion, and the ability and desire to put in the hard work.

It depends on the particular case. On what some might refer to as smaller matters, it could make a difference, but in high stakes litigation, I do not believe local practice has much to necessarily do with the outcome, assuming the players involved are honest.

An assessment of a potential client's immediate needs, a rough plan on how their goal can be accomplished or what additional information might be needed to best assess or analyze the problem, as well as a estimate of the cost of legal representation. It will vary based on the complexity and nuances involved in the matter.

When I take on representation I like to learn as much as I possible can about my client's and the scenario so I can best advise them, but during an initial consultation I usually only need the basics.
