About Howard
Since 1978, Mr. Flicker has been in private practice with The Frickey Law Firm. The major focus of Mr. Flicker's practice is Personal Injury Litigation in State and Federal Courts. He has litigated cases involving over $2,000,000 in claims against a major California real estate development corporation. Mr. Flicker was responsible for securing the United States' financial interest in loans provided to 1971 California earthquake victims. He has handled numerous criminal cases ranging from murder to battery. Mr. Flicker has also represented clients in Business Law, Social Security, Immigration, Workers' Compensation and Family Law.
Mr. Flicker was lead counsel in the largest Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy case in the State of Colorado where the jury awarded the client $1,494,000. He authored an Amicus Curiae Brief for the Colorado Trial Lawyers' Association, ultimately adopted by the Supreme Court, arguing that juries in Personal Injury cases should not be instructed that an award was not subject to taxation. Mr. Flicker received a judgment of $600,000, in the District Court of Jefferson County, Colorado, on a one mile an hour accident. He also received a verdict of $145,000 in a soft tissue injury case in Denver.
