Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I resolved a workers' compensation death case for $400,000. My client was the 3 year old daughter. Her father was killed during the course of his employment. The settlement paid $1400 per month for 15 years, and $50,000 at ages 18, 21, and 25. The money was more than sufficient to allow the mother to provide for all of life's necessities up to age 18. The lump sum payments will allow the child to attend college, purchase a home, or invest.
How did you build a successful practice?
I am the second generation. I was able to build upon a firm that had been in existence for many years, and earned a good reputation. Jay F. Trucks was the founder of the law firm. He is still practicing law at the age of 80. I purchased the firm approximately 10 years ago.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Smart, dedicated, and compassionate.

Local knowledge is very important. It is a big advantage to know the tendencies of the judges, and juries.

Second generation lawyer with 29 years of experience. I have only handled workers' compensation and auto accident cases. I will out work my competition. We have kept up with the latest technology for case management and client communication.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Helping injured people during their time of need. I help to level the playing field against large corporations and insurance companies.
