Jeff Linden has maintained a successful law practice since 1993 when he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, California.

At Hastings, he not only served on the Student Government and liaison to the faculty and the Board of Governors of the Law School, but also earned the rare honor of being appointed both to the Editorial Board of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly law journal, and the Moot Court Board after winning the David Snodgrass Award for Outstanding Appellate Advocacy. Mr. Linden also served as a judicial extern clerk to the Honorable Robert Schnacke of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and taught courses to San Francisco Junior and High School students on the law and legal issues relevant to the lives of young people in the Street Law Program.

Mr. Linden began practicing with a large firm in San Francisco, California, quickly establishing himself as an aggressive and knowledgeable commercial attorney successfully representing institutional clients in a broad range of commercial matters. Shortly thereafter, he was invited to co-found a small firm in San Francisco with a core group of attorneys from his prior firm where he continued to develop his commercial expertise. In 1998, Mr. Linden returned with his family to his Michigan roots to begin practice in the Metro-Detroit area where he has worked with small and medium sized law firms. As a result, Mr Linden is able to provide his clients with "Big Firm" skills and "Small Firm value and efficiency.

Mr. Linden is admitted to practice law in Michigan, California and Colorado. He has also earned admission to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Ninth and Sixth Circuits and, the federal trial courts in the Northern and Central Districts of California, as well as the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Mr. Linden represents many high profile and other clients in probate and trust matters, guardianships and conservatorships, and other civil and criminal matters ranging from high value insurance disputes arising from the death of thoroughbred race horses, accidental death insurance denials, corporate director/shareholder disputes, high and moderate value divorces and trust and will contests, and more.

Mr. Linden has also represented residential multifamily property owners and managers, including Section 8, and other subsidized housing managers with landlord-tenant, leasing, and compliance issues. He has also represented nursing homes and health care professionals in numerous certification, compliance, and licensing matters before state and federal administrative agencies and courts.

His practice currently concentrates in the areas of probate and trust litigation, estate planning, guardianships and conservatorships and related matters, and trust and estate administration for trusts and estates ranging from modest to high value matters. His practice also includes substantial work in general and complex business law and litigation in both federal and state courts, health care law and litigation, and landlord-tenant law.

Mr. Linden is recognized by clients, judges and colleagues to be knowledgeable, creative, ethical and aggressive in the representation of his clients in any court proceeding or advisory matter. In recognition of the respect he holds in the legal community, the Michigan Supreme Court has regularly appointed him to sit as a panel member for hearings of the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board in the tri-county area of Metro-Detroit since 2005, and his colleagues have elected him to serve as a member of the State Bar Representative Assembly for the Sixth Circuit region.

Mr. Linden’s respect and leadership has also been recognized by others. He currently is serving as a Commissioner on the Farmington Hills Commission on Parks and Recreation, and as a member of the Board of Trustees for Congregation Shaarey Zedek.

Mr. Linden is an active member of the Michigan State Bar, the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, and the Oakland County Bar Association. State Bar of Michigan for the Representative Assembly, and participates in the Business Law, Family Law, Computer Law, Litigation Section, Criminal Law, Health Care Law and Probate and Estate Planning Sections of the Michigan State Bar.
