Jeffrey E. Wilson, Attorney

Attorney Wilson earned his undergraduate degree at N.E.C.C. and the University of Massachusetts at Boston.  He graduated with honors, was a member of the student counsel, chairman of the finance committee, and writer and editor of a nationally recognized student newspaper.

He graduated from Suffolk University Law School at the top of his class, graduating cum laude.  While at Suffolk, Attorney Wilson won first and second place, respectively, in the first year brief writing and oral advocacy competition for his Legal Practical Skills section and was a member of the Suffolk University Law School National Trial Team.

After law school, Attorney Wilson worked in the legal department of a major insurance company in Boston.  His work was varied and complex, and involved, among other things, issues relating to insurance regulation and compliance, coverage, contract interpretation and the Employment Retirement and Income Security Act.

While Attorney Wilson enjoyed working in the corporate world, he longed to practice law in the courtroom, fighting for real people with real problems.  So he left his corporate job to form his own firm, Wilson Law Office.  Initially, he held an of counsel position with a major commercial litigation law firm, Zwicker & Associates, P.C., where he was lead trial counsel for the firm's clients as well as the firm itself. 

His practice also involved representing individuals charged with major felony offenses in state and federal courts.  Practicing in this area of law provided Attorney Wilson with invaluable, high-stakes, trial experience.

Over the years, Attorney Wilson has refocused his practice on family law cases, including divorce, modification, child support and child custody cases.  He brings with him to this practice the experience he has gained over the years resolving complex legal issues and fighting zealously for his client's in courtrooms all over the state.
