John M. Lovely, Attorney

John Lovely brings twenty years of real estate and business experience to Cashman and Lovely, P.C. John analyzes, negotiates and implements the transfer and financing of commercial, residential and industrial properties and businesses. He also drafts and negotiates loan documents, commercial and residential leases, purchase and sale agreements, stock purchase agreements, asset agreements and employment contracts. John is general counsel to condominium associations and property management companies. He creates condominium budgets, master deeds and association documents. Additionally, John creates limited liability companies, limited and general partnerships and corporations. John particularly enjoys complex transactions that involve environmental, land use, and tax issues.

John graduated Magna Cum Laude/Phi Beta Kappa from the University of New Hampshire with degrees in economics and communications. He then went to Suffolk University Law School, where he earned his law degree in 1986. While there, John was the co-editor of Suffolk Law School Briefs, an informational newsletter for law students. John also worked as a law clerk with the firm of Gelerman, Cashman & Donahue in Chestnut Hill. It was there that John and Dan began their professional relationship, which now spans two decades. 

John has tried and won both jury and jury-waived cases in state and federal courts. John has also been a licensed real estate broker since 1979, working with Century 21 The Lovely Agency, which his family owns and operates along with Lovely Insurance in Foxborough, MA.

John is married, has three children and is an active member of his community. He coaches Foxborough Youth Lacrosse and serves on the Board of Managers for the Foxborough YMCA. He also volunteers with the Foxborough Pop Warner Football Association.

John is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association, and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. He is also a Title agent for Stewart Title Guaranty Company.
