Mr Jonathan B. Butler, Partner/Shareholder

Jonathan B. Butler is a shareholder in the firm's West Palm Beach office where he focuses his practice on litigation, particularly broker-dealer, securities, complex commercial and multidistrict. He represents broker-dealers, investment advisers and individuals in a wide range of securities-related matters, with special emphasis on arbitration and mediation of customer and industry disputes, and regulatory enforcement and disciplinary proceedings involving the Securities & Exchange Commission and FINRA.

Mr. Butler regularly represents large and small businesses in a variety of commercial disputes. He also counsels on labor and employment matters, including disputes involving restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements.

Mr. Butler is a member of The Florida Bar, The Georgia Bar, Palm Beach County Bar Association, Securities Industry Association and American Bar Association.

He is author of "Insurers Under Fire: Assessing the Constitutionality of Florida's Residential Property Insurance Moratorium After Hurricane Andrew," published in Florida State University Law Review.
