Joseph M Pozorski Jr., Attorney

Joseph M. Pozorski, Jr. was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 1957, to Joseph, Sr. and Alice Pozorski. Mr. Pozorski received his elementary school education at St. Mary's School in Manitowoc and graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 1975. After high school, Mr. Pozorski pursued his college education at Marquette University where he received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance. After receiving his Undergraduate Degree he traveled further south where he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago , Ill. Upon graduation, Mr. Pozorski was honored to have bestowed upon him The Order of John Marshall which is a distinction reserved only for those graduating in the top five percent of their class.

After law school, Mr. Pozorski returned home where he married his wife, Lynn, and then joined Ron Kaminski in the practice of law in 1982. Joseph and Lynn continue to reside in Manitowoc with their three children, Joseph III, Nicole and Eric.
 
Mr. Pozorski's practice involves trial work in numerous areas of the law including personal injury, auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, products liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability. Mr. Pozorski has recovered millions of dollars in settlements for his clients by providing aggressive representation and by being committed to holding wrongdoers accountable for the damages they cause his clients.

In addition, Attorney Pozorski provides trial representation relative to divorce, child custody, child support and family law for 25 years. Consistent with his trial skills and abilities, Attorney Pozorski has provided criminal representation to those unfortunate few who have been charged in major felony, misdemeanor, as well as OWI cases.

Finally, Attorney Pozorski provides representation to his small and medium sized business clients relative to incorporation, business setup, acquisitions and sales, as well as business planning. His trial representation experience provides him with a unique opportunity to foresee problems and help his clients avoid them when setting up a business, buying or selling a business, and in general business planning.

Attorney Pozorski has been an active member in providing service to his community and has been honored to serve many of the local organizations, which are listed in the Community Service portion of this website, not only as their legal counsel, but also as a leader in the organization.

Attorney Pozorski is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Manitowoc County Bar Association, the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the American Bar Association. He is an avid hunter, fisherman, youth sports coach, and Harley rider.
