Neil D. Van Dalsem, Attorney

Neil D. Van Dalsem was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1969. He received a Bachelor's Degree, with honors, from Oklahoma State University in 1991 and a Juris Doctorate degree, with highest honors, from the University of Tulsa in 1994. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1994.

He is admitted to practice in all of the federal courts in Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association, Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute.

Mr. Van Dalsem joined the firm in 1995. He divides his practice between insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage disputes and commercial disputes and litigation. The majority of his work is devoted to coverage opinions and research and writing in all types of litigation, most often in cases that involve insurance bad faith claims and insurance coverage disputes. He has prepared over 600 formal coverage opinions and taken many examinations under oath. He has been involved in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, settlement and acting as lead trial counsel.
