Patrick is a native Kentuckian, having graduated from the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law, cum laude. During law school, Patrick was active in the legal community, serving as Executive Editor of the University of Louisville Law Review, while participating in Moot Court, serving on the Student Government Association, and achieving the top grade in Property. While in law school, Patrick also worked for several different law firms and companies, experiencing and utilizing the tactics that these entities use so often against those harmed by their actions. He brought this knowledge to Jones Ward, and now uses it to help those hurt recover for their injuries.

Patrick is a member of the American Association of Justice, the Louisville Bar Association, and the Kentucky Bar association. When not in the office, you can find Patrick hiking, biking, and motorcycling across Kentucky and Indiana.
