Defendants contended that Plaintiff was negligent in carrying over $250 pounds of load on the stairs using the handcart. Pre-trial offer was $20,000.00 Case Conclusion Date:December 9, 2011 Practice Area:Personal Injury Outcome:Settled for Defendant's policy limits of 250,000.00 Description:Defendant struck Plaintiff running a red light and under the influence of alcohol casuing crash.Plaintiff suffered tibial and clavicle fractures. Case Conclusion Date:November 10, 2011 Practice Area:Slip and Fall Accident Outcome:Settled at mediation for $250,000.00 Description:Plaintiff fell in Defendant's apartment complex while ascending the stairs. Defendants had irregular step sizes and no lighting illuminating the stairs creating a dangerous condition. Defendants denied liability at claims level and offered zero dollars.
