Jeffreys v. Snappy Car Rental, Inc., Practice Area: Insurance Outcome: Our client won. Description: This case "made law" and was important in determining an area of the law that had produced a great deal of litigation with regard to insurance coverage. The court ruled in favor of our client. Benavides v. Summit Structures, Inc., et al., Practice Area: Workers Compensation Outcome: Our client won. Description: This workers' compensation case helped clarify the law in several areas. The court ruled in favor of our client. Allred v. Capital Area Soccer League, et al Practice Area: Personal Injury Date: Jan 14, 2008 Outcome: The court ruled in our favor Description: Ms. Allred was injured at a soccer game by a ball that struck her in the head. The trial court dismissed the case. The Court of Appeals found that this was a case of first impression, and that Ms. Allred had a right to present a record upon which a court could determinet whether she stated a claim that should be recognized by the law. The matter was settled thereafter.
