introduction
Ryan has practiced law since 1999. He received his undergraduate education from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa (B.B.A., Finance, with Honors, 1996) and his law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, San Francisco, California (J.D., with Distinction, 1999). He was admitted into the California Bar in 1999 (#202971) and the Florida Bar in 2005 (#11729). Following tenures as a criminal prosecutor and private trial attorney, he established The Albaugh Law Firm in St. Augustine, Florida.
Ryan's experience prosecuting criminal matters ranging from simple misdemeanors to serious felonies has provided him with extensive knowledge of criminal law and insight into how the State Attorney pursues cases. Having practiced law on both sides of the table contributes greatly to his success in defending his clients in criminal proceedings. As a family law attorney Ryan understands the sensitive nature of these cases. His creativity and skill as a negotiator often leads to quick resolutions allowing his clients to move on with their lives. However, if settlement cannot be reached his experience as a trial attorney provides him with the background necessary to fight for his clients in court. When representing clients in Foreclosure and Bankruptcy matters Ryan draws on his Finance degree. His ability to understand complex financial contracts and circumstances gives him the unique ability to find solutions to financial issues facing his clients.
Ryan is committed to providing his clients with personal attention, honest communication, and zealous representation in and out of the courtroom. He is available on weekends and evenings so you do not have to miss work for appointments or sit in jail over a weekend to wait for the office to open on Monday. Call today for your free consultation to see how Ryan can protect what matters most to you.
