William G. Goode is the founder of The Law Office William G. Goode. Mr. Goode is admitted to practice law in all of the state, county and local courts of the State of New York, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Goode has a Bachelors Degree in Economics for the College of William & Mary, and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Richmond. In addition to being admitted to the Bar, Mr. Goode also has an MBA in Corporate Finance from Dowling University and formerly held New York State Life, Health and Accident Insurance licenses as well as NASD Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses.

Mr. Goode has litigated claims in both federal and state courts in a wide variety of commercial claims, including corporate dissolution and derivative actions, contract and real estate disputes and estate litigation as well as debt collection.

Mr. Goode offers traditional estate planning for estates of all sizes, planning to minimize Gift Taxes and Estate Taxes, the use of Trusts to protect assets, Business Planning for small business owners, and Retirement Planning for individuals of all income levels. In the area of Elder Law, Mr. Goode will guide you through the complexities of Medicaid laws, explain the options available to pay for home health care, assisted living and nursing home costs, assist you in qualifying for these benefits, and implement a plan to protect your assets from nursing home costs.

His Surrogate’s Court practice includes guardianships and other protective proceedings (Article 81 and Article 17A guardianships), and the Probate and Administration of Estates and Trusts.  Mr. Goode handles both routine Probate and Administration proceedings as well as litigated matters.
